The Lie We Lived In (2026) is a tense romantic thriller that follows contract killer Seo I Do, whose mission takes an unexpected turn when he is ordered to keep his target, Heo Dong Hwa, alive and captive. Complications arise when Chu Tae Jeong, an old friend of Dong Hwa, arrives for a planned stay and mistakenly believes I Do is Dong Hwa’s younger brother. As I Do maintains the deception, he discovers that Tae Jeong is actually a detective. Forced to live together while hiding their secrets, the two grow increasingly drawn to one another. As the truth closes in and long-buried secrets emerge, I Do must choose between completing his mission and risking everything for the man determined to uncover the truth.
